As if that wasn't bad enough, you would often have to go all the way back to where you started in order to complete the mission. Although big, they were often just a dull, uninspired labyrinth. Dark project levels were mostly multi layer basements and caves that looked very similar and were full of empty, pointless rooms. In the first game I constantly felt like I was exploring a series of tunnels made of two minecraft blocks. Not only that, environment looks a lot better - interiors are more detailed and realistic. The levels are so much better - more open, allowing for different paths and ways to accomplish your goal and filled with interesting stuff like mini stories that lead to hidden loot. Instead of being a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lara croft getting lost in tombs you now rob mansions, banks and industiral areas. It takes the best of the previous game and adds what was missing - an actual thief gameplay.
